2018 Lunch & Learn Discussion Programs included
The South Coast Development Council, Inc. has been sponsoring some specialized overview sessions perfect for the busy business owner. The "Lunch and Learn" programs are revving up with some existing specialized speakers and interesting discussions. These sessions are FREE and occur in room 207 in the 2110 Newmark Avenue building in Coos Bay from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
The program will be restarting in January with a whole new line up of exciting topics you may not find anywhere else! Some of our Business Retention, Recruiting, and Expansion ideas for 2019 include:
--Removing barriers to your success - 'Getting out of the maze' is a sequel book to 'Who moved my cheese?' Our speaker will be talking about how we sometimes stand in the way of our goals and success
--Building resilience in your business -- more than just emergency planning and making sure that everyone gets out safely during a major event. What can you do to help your business survive?
--Mastermind Groups - These highly successful groups serve as an effective substitute for a Board of Directors for small businesses. This session will talk about how to start and maintain a mastermind group in your community
