SCDC is a member funded 501(c)3 nonprofit economic development organization, headquartered in Coos Bay and serves the Southern Oregon Coast from Florence to Brookings-Harbor. SCDC works to engage public and private stakeholders across the region to pursue economic development opportunities, while providing no cost technical assistance to retain, expand, and attract living wage companies and industries in our communities.

We are guided by a seven person Executive Committee, and up to a 30-person Board of Directors. Investors range from private individuals, businesses, special districts, counties, municipalities, ports, and philanthropic donors.
